FAQ's

Questions about our courses:

You can book an 8-week course through our services page and looking for the “book here” button. All practical information on our courses can be found on the services page under “courses”.

No worries, we have a Whatsapp group chat where you can exchange your classes with another student from another day. If you can’t manage to switch your class, just ask your teacher for other possibilities. Note: you have to re-take all missed classes within your 8-week course period.

Our 8-week course includes both handbuilding and wheel throwing. With a maximum of 8 students and 5 wheels, availability depends on the group’s interests. If several students prefer handbuilding, more wheels may be free for the duration of the course, but this is not guaranteed. If you’re looking for dedicated wheel-throwing practice, we recommend our intensive wheel course in June and July, which focuses entirely on mastering the basics with plenty of hands-on time.

Whether you have booked an 8-week course or a workshop, we understand that sometimes you have to cancel a booking. We appreciate you telling us beforehand. Every cancellation, whether a paid or unpaid booking has a cost of €35. This cancellation fee is to cover all administrative and organisational fees. We appreciate your understanding. For more details on cancellation for a course or workshop, please read our Terms & Conditions.

Questions about our workshops:

We have private workshops (1-2 people) and workshops for groups between 3-30 people. We offer both handbuilding and wheelthrowing workshops in our studio. The possibilities and option depend on the size of the group. Check our page for all the options and what they include.

Our existing workshops are called “events” (open to anyone). We organise several events throughout the year with different themes (e.g. Make your teapot, Clay & Connect, Paint & Sip). You can sign up alone or with some friends. Check out our calendar.

No, we do not offer the option to join an existing workshop individually or with just 1-2 people. Our workshops are either private (for 1 or 2 people) or group-based, where you sign up with a larger group and choose your own date and theme. If you’re looking for a small private experience, check out our private workshop options!

We’ll email you once your pieces are ready to be picked up. You stop by during our classes, that way there is always someone in the studio. Though we appreciate your spontaneity, we would suggest to always pre-plan your visit if you cannot make it during our office hours.

Questions about our events:

Events include our open gatherings such as mixers, art opening, and pre-planned workshops with a specific theme that are open to the public. Unlike private workshops (for 1-2 people) or group workshops (for 3-30 people on a date of your choice), events allow individuals to sign up and join others. Most events require a ticket or fee to participate, unless stated otherwise.

All our events have a special theme, depending on the activity, certain skills might be required. In most cases, however, all levels are welcome and our skilled teachers will guide you along the way. You can find more information on any requirements on the page of the event itself.
